This is pretty brief, so if you want to learn more, go to Den of Angels for more in depth stuff. It's freee. :] Most questions I get have generally been asked here enough times as it is, so if you do a search, you'll likely find your answers.

ART + CAMERA FAQs

Can I use one of your pictures for my RPC/my story?
No. My dolls are representations of my personal OCs and I would much rather they stayed that way. My photos and art are not stock.

Can I repost/make avatars/signatures from your photos/art?
No. Same idea as above.
It also applies to my dolls that are not representative of my own OCs (ex: Lelouch, Shin, Raiden...). I would rather they were not reposted anywhere else. If you'd like to share my work with others, please link them here or to my dA.

What kind of camera do you use?
I use a Sony DSLR Alpha-700 camera. I use a Carl Zeiss f/1.4 85mm lens. Some pictures were taken with the camera's kit lens, a f/3.5-5.6 16-105mm.

GENERAL DOLL FAQs

What kind of dolls are they?
They're called Asian ball-jointed Dolls (ABJD or just BJD, try this). DoA is the biggest English resource next to Google, so give it a shot.

Do you make them?
Nope, I bought them, then customized them to make them look the way they are.

How much are they?
Depending on the company they're from, what type/size, or if they're in limited quantity, the price tag is all variable. Usually at the bare minimum prices, dolls will come completely unpainted (faceless if you will), with no wig or clothes. The most I spent on a bare doll was about $1000, the least around $400.

How did you afford them??
Working hard and saving. Having a work ethic basically. No need to be a billionaire to buy yourself one of these dolls as many people tend to believe.

Why spend so much on a doll??
For the same reason as to why I'd get a new computer or a game console. 'Cause I enjoy each and every one of them.

You're crazy!
<strike>Screw the rules, I have money.</strike> There are stranger things in this world. Live with it.

Can you recommend any companies/stores?
There are many to list. Here's one on DoA.

MY DOLLS' FAQs

Where did you get them from?/What molds do you have?
Right now I have:

Cloud -- Esthy Peroth -- dnmemory.mireene.com
Toya -- DM Model Kyle Reese -- dollmore.net
Kamui -- SD16 Amelia boy -- volks.co.jp/en/
Quinn -- CP Breakaway '08 -- eluts.com
Dante -- SD16 Olivia boy -- volks.co.jp/en/
Errol -- SD13 Tsukasa Konoe -- volks.co.jp/en/
Chiib!Kamui -- YoSD Ayumu -- volks.co.jp/en/
Chiib!Cloud -- YoSD Piccolo -- volks.co.jp/en/

Where can I get a Peroth (Cloud's head mold)?
He was a limited overseas release. The original creator only planned on his resale him via Y!J auctions, but now it seems their main site is inaccessible and Esthy hasn't been heard of since. The only possible way of getting a Peroth now is through the second hand market.

Why can't I find ________'s type at the site you listed for sale/at all?
Like Cloud (Peroth), some of my dolls are limited, so they can't be purchased anywhere else but the second hand market (Yahoo!Japan auctions, eBay or the DoA Marketplace). Some sites (like Volks) may not even have the doll in any of their pages anymore.

I like ________'s wig, where's it from?
Most of my guys' wigs are special made by various members of DoA, and if they're cut at all, that was all my own doing with a pair of very annoying scissors.

What did you use to paint their faces/etc? Can you teach me?
Lawl, unfortunately I can't teach. I will have all my materials listed on my aesthetics portfolio soon.
